  • ¾ cup (1½ sticks) of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 can (5.3 ounces) of evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs white
  • 3 egg yolks at room temperature
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Buttercream Frosting:

  • 1 pound white chocolate, chopped fine
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup milk
  • pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


For Cake:

Step 1: First, grease a 9 x 13″ baking pan with baking spray. Set aside.

Step 2: In a mixing bowl, add the sugar and butter. Cream until light and fluffy.

Step 3: Add eggs, one by one, and mix well after each egg addition. Add vanilla extract, then add buttermilk at the last minute of mixing.
